Georgia's Stone Mountain Park covers 3,200 acres and features the world's largest mass of exposed granite -- the 825-foot high Stone Mountain. Visitors can see an authentic ante-bellum plantation, steam-driven locomotives and take the skylift to the top of the mountain. Other recreational opportunities, such as swimming, fishing, tennis, golf and riverboat cruises are also available. There is also the Discovering Stone Mountain Museum at Memorial Hall and a Laser-Show presented at twilight on the side of the mountain.
