Center for Puppetry Arts in Midtown is a museum that features performances and a create-a-puppet workshop for all age groups throughout the year. This is the largest North American organization dedicated to the art of puppetry. Shows are in the Mainstage or Downstairs Theaters, Monday-Saturday. Every year the center offers performances in the Family Series, New Directions Series for Adults and the Summer Festival.
An interactive museum, Puppets: The Power of Wonder, displays more than 200 puppets from the centers international collection and is the largest permanent puppetry museum in the United States. MARTA: Arts Center Station is 3 blocks south of 18th Street.
